The YF.KNIT Factory is acutely aware of the impact our industry is having on our planet and people, and as our family grows and our children grow, we are more fully aware of how far-reaching our actions today are for future generations. The responsibility to mitigate our environmental impact and initiate positive social change is becoming more important every day.
We are encouraged to strive to contribute to environmental sustainability where possible and feasible. We place great emphasis on using natural fibers wherever possible, using a range of sustainable natural fabrics that are free of harmful chemicals and toxins, and we strive consciously to create pieces that stand the test of time. Also in the choice of products and materials is to extend their lifespan and improve quality so that they can be worn longer and increase the likelihood of reuse and recycling.
In addition to the fabric, we have also updated the packaging, launching an eco-friendly packaging, SUSTAINABLE & COMPOSTABLE PACKAGING. They are mainly processed from polylactic acid, obtained from renewable and natural raw materials such as corn. They are fully biodegradable polymer that breaks down completely and leaves no toxic residues behind when composted. If you would like to know more about this eco-friendly packaging, please email us.
